If I sign up as a Consultant but do not meet the minimum of $300 within 3 months, what happens?
As a Consultant
your commission will be 25% of all the sales you make. You are also entitled to 25% off all personal purchases you make. You are required to submit at least $300 in sales slips, make $300 in personal purchases per qtr. or a combination of the both totaling $300 a qtr..
If you fall below this minimum 2 qtrs. in a row you, will be listed as a hobbyist and you commissions and discount will be reduced to the Hobbyist level of 20%.
To regain your Consultant benefits you must submit at least $300 in sales within a 3 months period before your commission and discount of 25% will be reinstated.
Can I register as a Hobbyist but purchase the Business Builder Kit or Product Kit?
Yes.
If you feel you cannot make the sales minimum starting out, but would like to use this opportunity as a business venture, signing up as a Hobbyist, but purchasing the Business Builder Kits so you have all the business materials you need to grow, is a fantastic option.
Please keep in mind that your commission will only be 20%. You can gain Consultant status anytime by requesting the change in writing and submitting $100 in sales 3 months in row.
You will be able to purchase either kit at a discount once you are approved and your account is activated.
Can I sign up with the program without purchasing a Kit?
No.
You must purchase either the Business Builder Kit, Product Starter Kit or the Hobbyist Kit when you submit your application. These contain all the important information you need to start your business and/or get your discount...and you get a copy of the catalog!
How do I become a Consultant if I originally signed up as a Hobbyist?
To become a Consultant and receive a 25% commission/personal discount, you must request the change in writing along with $100 in sales 3 months in a row.
Do I have to carry inventory?
No. It is completely optional.
If my customers order online will I get credit for the sale?
Yes.
When you signed up you were given access to our Business Manger that generates your own personal link to refer people to the shopping site with. Use this link, along with the other banners and links in your email, forum signatures or whatever to direct people to the site. Your link automatically tracks all your referrals and automatically generates your commission after a sale is made.
There is also a box at checkout that every customer must fill in asking for their Consultants name.
I filled out the application and ordered my Kit, how do I get my discount?
Your discount will automatically show up when you submit a purchase in the store. More instructions will be included in your starter kit.
Do you have websites available?
Yes.
We have simple replicated sites available. These will include your basic contact information and your personal tracking link to the store. The cost is $25 a year. An application for one will be included with your starter kit.
I am in Canada, can I still become a Consultant?
No, not at this time.
Because of the rising shipping costs, as of May 26th we are no longer taking Canadian or other international applicants.
We may recruit again in the future.
Do you have a non-compete clause?
No.
Although we would definately prefer you to only be a representative of AC Bailey, having an affiliation with another scrapbooking direct sales company is not a problem. We promote diversity in scrapbooking and this is just another way to show our customers just that.
How do I know if I am approved?
You will receive a "admin approval" confirmation email AFTER you have submitted an application AND purchased your starter kit. Your discount and login will not be set up until you have purchased your starter kit.
We have 3 kits to choose from.
For Consultants you may choose our Business Builder Kit for $19.95, which includes all your business materials, forms, catalogs and manual, or our Product Starter Kit for $70, which includes $120 worth of our current available products and your business materials, forms, catalogs and manual.
If you fill out the application to become a Hobbyist, you are required to purchase the Hobbyist Kit for $14.95 when you submit your application. This contains instuctions on how to get your discount and 1 of each of the current catalogs. You may later purchase either of the other kits at a discount after you are approved.
When does my quarter start to meet my Consultant minimum?
Your quarter starts the first of the month after you are approved.
You will have 3 full months to meet your $300 minimum.
